Located where Lake Ontario ends and the St. Lawrence River begins its journey to the Atlantic, Wolfe Island is the largest of the world-renowned 1000 Islands. The Island is a short 20 minute ferry ride from Downtown Kingston. There’s also a ferry from Cape Vincent N.Y. that docks on the south side of the island about 10km from Marysville. Ferry information is available online at:
To St. Margaret’s Hall: Upon disembarking from the Ferry, turn right, and walk east along Highway 96. St. Margaret’s Hall is located at the top of the hill. Walking time: 10 minutes.
To Community Centre Grounds: Upon disembarking from the Ferry, turn left, and walk west along Highway 96 about one block. Turn right onto Victoria Street and head directly to the Marysville Community Centre Grounds. Walking time: 5 minutes.
All the venues are very short walks from the Marysville ferry dock, so it is strongly recommended that you leave vehicles on the Kingston side and walk on board. You’ll avoid what can be a long and frustrating wait to put a car on the ferry during a busy summer weekend.
